Kindergarten Celebrates Purple Day with Fun and Learning! On 30.08.2024, our Kindergarten students celebrated Purple Day. Our young learners had a blast participating in various activities, show and talk and crafts. Our kindergarten students wore their best purple outfits and accessories, showing their spirit and enthusiasm for the day. *Purple Crafts:* Our students created beautiful purple-themed crafts and paintings.
"Janmashtami Celebrations "at Our School Campus on 23.08.2024. Our school campus was filled with joy and devotion as we celebrated Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna. Our KG children dress up like Radha and Krishna. The celebration began with a sacred Pooja ceremony performed by our honourable Chairman Dr. Rajaram , setting a spiritual tone for the occasion. Ms. Soundarya, our faculty member, then narrated the story of Lord Krishna's life and teachings to the students. Through her engaging storytelling, she brought to life the legend of Krishna's birth, his triumphs, and his message of love and compassion. The students listened with rapt attention, absorbing the values and morals embedded in the story. The celebration was a wonderful opportunity for our students to connect with India's rich cultural heritage and understand the significance of Janmashtami. We are grateful to our Chairman,Principal,celebration team and all our faculties for making this occasion so memorable and enriching for our students."
*Kindergarten - Yellow Day Celebration* On 20.08.2024,our school was abuzz with sunshine and smiles as we celebrated Yellow Day! This bright and cheerful event was a wonderful opportunity for our students and staff to come together and spread joy and positivity. Students and teachers alike wore their best yellow attire. The sea of yellow that filled our hallways and classrooms was a beautiful sight to behold. A yellow-themed rakhi making activity was done by our students.
Raksha Bandhan is a cultural festival celebrated during the month of August. This is a holy occasion for commemorating the bond between brothers and sisters. On this day, sisters tie a thread or a rakhi on their brothers' wrists to symbolise their bond. Today (19.08.2024) Raksha Bandhan celebrated at our school were filled with love and joy! Our students made beautiful rakhis, performed a heartwarming rakhi-tying ceremony. We're so proud of our young learners for embracing the spirit of sibling love and protection.
On August 15, 2024, we celebrated India's 78th Independence Day with great fervor and patriotism. The day began with a flag-hoisting ceremony, where our honourable Chairman Dr. Rajaram unfurled the national flag, accompanied by the Principal, Vice Principal, faculties and our beloved students. *Cultural Events* The students showcased their talent through various cultural events, including: 1. Skits depicting India's struggle for freedom 2. Poem recitations and speeches on the significance of Independence Day The celebration concluded with a sweet distribution among the students. The event was a resounding success, instilling a sense of patriotism and national pride in the hearts of our students and staff.
"Celebrating Color Day in kindergarten is a great way to promote color recognition and awareness. It also encourages creativity and self-expression through dress and art. On July 26, 2024, our kindergarten class celebrated Pink Day with enthusiasm! The children engaged in various pink-themed crafts and activities, further developing their fine motor skills. Our teachers led discussions about the color pink, exploring its various shades and objects, which helped build vocabulary and language skills. This fun and interactive approach to learning made the experience both enjoyable and educational."
The Green Day is a symbol of our appreciation for nature and the environment. Our KG students celebrated green day on 12.07.2024.The purpose of our KG department celebrating this day was to take care of our environment. The color green is associated with nature, fertility, and prosperity. To encourage our kindergarten students to grow more plants, our teachers set up a forest and demonstrated the importance of save forest.
On 15.07.2024, We celebrated Perunthalaivar K. Kamarajar 122nd birthday in our school campus. Our honourable Chairman Dr. Rajaram honoured K. Kamararajar portrait by garland. He gave a brief speech about the importance of celebrating Perunthalaivar birthday as education day. Our KG children were dressed up like K. Kamarajar and spoke about him. Quiz programmes were conducted for our grade students on the topic of Kamarajar schemes and his contribution on education. Grade students enacted a skit on the importance of education.
Van Mahotsav Day is a tree-planting festival that is celebrated in the first week of July, from 1– 7. It is observed to spread awareness about the importance of forests, woodlands and trees in our lives. To create awareness of painting new trees, our SKG kids seedling pearl millet and water it enthusiastically.
We celebrated International Yoga Day with enthusiasm and dedication! Our students, practice yoga,promoting physical,mental and emotional well-being.Through synchronized movements and mindful breathing, we connected with our inner selves and celebrated the unity of body, mind and spirit.
KG wings Red day celebration -21.06.2024 The ‘Red Day’ celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped children to understand the concept of Primary Colours. Red colour also signifies Love and Compassion. To mark this day very special, students and the teachers were dressed in red clothes. Classes were decorated with red objects. Students actively participated in Palm printing and crab making activities.
" KG kids celebrate their superheroes!" On Father's Day, our little creative’s in Kindergarten made heartfelt greeting cards for their superheroes-their dads! It was a beautiful expression of love and appreciation for the special men in their lives.
