Arts and cookery centre
Cooking is not only a fun, but also creates innovativeness in children. It had been used for years as an important teaching and had been a development tool for all ages. We are not just making food, we used cooking as an interdisciplinary learning tool, to teach science in action, to lay down basic math, reading and time telling skills, to encourage healthy food choices, building confidence and creativity, to enhance communication and deepening connections with the child.
More than that cooking improves our students’ life style viz improving healthy food habits, self esteem, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, imagination and creativity, cognitive development, vocabulary skills, learning about different cultures and learning about origin of food. So we are including cookery class as an important learning style in our curriculum.
