Every year we celebrates National Science Day on 28th February to commemorate the day on which Sir C.V.Raman discovered the Raman effect. Our students exhibited their projects in the field of Science, Maths and Robotics
Sports day is a typical event held once a year. On 03.02.2024, we celebrated our sports day in our school campus. Mr. N. A. Jayarathnarajan, M. Com., B. P.Ed., NIS (District sports officer, Tenkasi ) as a chief guest and declared our sports meet open. Mr. N. Ramesh basketball coach C-panel as a guest of honour and distributed medals and certificates. Our honourable chairman Dr. Rajaram M. E. M. Phil., M. B. A., Ph. D presided the function. Our Sports Day celebration provides a great platform to the students to showcase the spirit of sportsmanship.
The 75th Republic Day celebrated on 26.01.2024 at our school ground. The event began at 8.30 am with the hoisting of the Indian National Flag by our honorable Chairman Dr.Rajaram.. Our Chairman highlighted the significance of the day and made the children aware that the future of their country lies in the hands in his address.
On 19.01.2024 brown day was celebrated by our JKG & SKG kids. To start with, the kids came dressed up in a mixture of colourful shades of brown. Classrooms were decorated by brown objects and children talked about the brown object.
On 19.01.2024, our Pre KG students celebrated brown day. All the children were dressed up in brown and they enjoyed art and craft activities.

On 12.01.2024,we celebrated pongal in a grand manner. We invited our KG parents.Rtn.Ms.Selvarani was the chief guest and Dr. Sangeetha, Prof. Kanaga were the guest of honours. Our Chairman Dr. Rajaram addressed the gathering. Our Grade students welcomed the parents with culturals like kolaattam and pattimandram. Various Competitions were held for the parents like bottle filling, mom and child, dad and child , fast eating , rangoli, top and rope etc. ,The prize winners were awarded with shields.
On 22.12.2023, we celebrated Christmas in our school campus. The students presented an interesting programmes. Our honourable chairman Dr. Rajaram, gave a positive note about importance of all religions and it's celebrations. KG students danced for famous Christmas song and entertain the audience. Grade students. The nativity of Christmas drama was enacted by our grade students. Our children played jingle bell song through violin and keyboard. Children carried the message of joy and sharing to their home
National Mathematics day was organised in our school on 22.12 2023 to the birthday of Shri Srinivasa Ramanujan, the great mathematical genius who made exemplary contribution to Mathematics. The Mathematics day was celebrated with objective of creating awareness about importance of mathematics in day to day life situation and also to create students interest in studying the Mathematics. As part of the celebrations, quiz programme, were organized and conducted by our grade students. From classes 1 to 2 divided into 6 teams participated in the quiz programme which was conducted in five rounds. Like that for classes from 3 to 4 and classes from 5 to 6 participated in quiz. Dances related to shapes and multiplication tables was done by classes from 1 to 3. The students participated in the above programmes with great enthusiasm and enjoyed the programmes. Our honourable chairman Dr Rajaram and Principal Mrs. U. Sakthi Veeralakshmi graced the occasion and encouraged the students to participate in such activities in future as well. Our SIS team organised the function in well mannered .
It's time to honour our brave Navy Soldiers for protecting us from the enemies. Indian Navy Day is cеlеbratеd on Dеcеmbеr 4th еvеry yеar,this day is dedicated to Respect and honour our soldiers." On 04 12 2023, we celebrated Indian Navy Day to give awareness for our students about our Navy . Our Grade 6 and Grade 7 students explained about our Indian Navy, ships and career paths to make a Career in Indian Navy. Our KG kids did an activity related to ship and dedicated to our Indian Navy.
On 22.11.2023 we organised white day for Pre KG. The day revolved around decorating everything white! Kids saw various white-coloured objects and learned to recognize them. Even the classrooms were decorated in white objects. Moreover, all children and teachers dressed in white, all of them looking like angels. Kids pasted cotton on igloo craft.
On 22.11.2023,our Senior Kindergarten students celebrated gray day. They learned that even if they don’t have the gray color in their palette, they can still create one by mixing black and white together. Students enjoyed doing crafts of gray animal cat. .
The meaning of the color white is purity innocence, wholeness and completion. On 22.11.2023) our JKG kids celebrated white day in our school. The little kids come to school dressed in white and were eager to participate in the day’s activities. The classroom was decorated according to the color theme and white color objects were shown to the children, who identified them correctly. Children were engaged in a fun activity of Bunny mask, which they enjoyed a lot!
On 14.11.2023,we celebrated children's day. Our teachers performed activities for our students and sweets were distributed to students.
On 09.11.2023 we celebrated Deepavali the festival of lights in our school. Our students came to school dressed in colour clothes. Our Chairman Dr. Rajaram addressed the gathering and explained about the Fireworks Manufacturing and safety culture. Our Grade 2 students enact a drama on Safe Deepavali. Grade 6 & 7 students did dance performance and our teachers delivered a speech on why we are celebrating deepavali. Finally students were shared their sweets among their peers.
An exhibition forSocial Science ,English & Tamil was held in our School on 10.11.2023. Students from classes Pre KG to VII of the School participated and displayed there innovative talents in the Exhibition.
On account of World students' day ,our KG department conducted a fancy dress competition for students in the topic 'I want to be a...... ' Students dressed up like a Dr. Abdul Kalam, Doctor, Advocate, Teacher etc.,,
On 11.10.2023 we celebrated “Postal day . Our students visited a post-office . Children had a glance of the various counters catering to the public, namely those selling stamps, envelopes, postcards etc. Postal department officials explained the way parcels are delivered to different places in the city and places in the country as well as many countries too!
Our students celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi on 15.09.2023, (Friday ).As a part of celebrations a special assembly was organised in the school. Our teachers explained the importance of this festival in the society and why it is celebrated too. A melodious song was sung by SKG students praising the existence of Lord Ganesha.KG section did idol of Lord Ganesha by using wheat flour. The whole atmosphere was charged with festivity. The students were explained about the significance of the festival and emphasised on eco-friendly ways of celebrating the festival. The programme concluded with healthy millet kozhukattai were distributed to all children.
India is celebrating every year Hindi Diwas on 14 September to spread Hindi in every region, as requested by Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti. Apart from this, 14 September is also the birthday of Rajendra Singh, who worked tirelessly towards making Hindi the official language of India. Our students too celebrated Hindi Diwas. The importance and purpose of this day was explained by the Hindi teachers. students presented a drama, dance and rhymes in Hindi. Teachers also listed out interesting facts about Hindi.
To honour the grand parent's, on 11.09.2023 we celebrated grand parents' day. Our Chairman Dr. Rajaram addressed the gathering and Principal Ms. U. Sakthi Veeralakshmi organized the function. Our little kids did "Paatha Pooja" for their grand parents with flowers and sandals. The grand parents appreciated the little kids and showered their blessings.
On 05.09.2023, we celebrated Krishna Jayanthi celebration at our school. KG children dressed up as Lord Krishna and Radha.Grade students participated in various activities like mud pot painting, flute decoration and drawing.
Our KG section celebrated Purple Day on 25th August 2023. Teachers kids were dressed in a highly intense purple colour. All the students vibrantly participated in creative activities like purple colour paper tulip, brinjal paper crush activity and Octopus. Children brought objects like balloons, toys and much more in all tints of purple. Teachers showed students various purple colour objects. All the students were actively involved.
On 18.08.2023 (Friday) ,our KG students celebrated yellow day. The motive of celebrating this yellow colour day was to make the children aware of yellow colour, its significance and to develop fine motor skills.Children were dressed in yellow costumes and brought yellow objects too. JKG students did craft activity Duck by using yellow paper and JKG coloured bee hive.
On 15.08.2023,we celebrated 77th Independence Day in our school campus. Grade students are given a parade. Our honourable Chairman Dr.Rajaram hoisted the National flag and delivered a speech regarding Independence Day. Students performed various patriotic programs. kG - Fashion parade Grade I & II - Patriotic dance Grade III & IV - Tamil drama Grade V - Patriotic song Grade VI - English speech Grade VII - Hindi speech Finally, sweets are distributed to the students.
Pink day was celebrated by our KG students on 21.07.2023(Friday).The students and teachers came dressed in shades of pink.Students brought pink objects. They spoke a few words related to the show and tell activity brought by them. All the pink objects were displayed in class and they were introduced to different shades of pink. The teachers explained that the colour pink is derived by mixing red and white. To enhance their painting skills, the students were asked to paint a flamingo and did craft like jelly fish and cotton candy.
We celebrated our former Chief Minster Shri K. kamarajar birthday in our school premises. Our Grade 5-7 students were delivered a special speech about K. Kamarajar, Grade 4 &5 students were draw a Kamarajar portrait,Grade 1 & 2 students sung a song about Kamarajar. Our KG kids dressed up like a Kamarajar and spoke few lines about him.
Today(13.07.2023),our KG students celebrated green day. To reinforce the concept of the colour, the students were engaged in an art activity like paper plate frog, alligator and colouring the grapes with buds. SKG kids spoke few lines about green objects.
We celebrated Vanmohatsav – the festival of trees within the school premises from July 01-July 07, 2023. As a part of this tree festival ,on 06.07.2023 we collaborated with ITC and conducted a drawing competition for our Grade 1 to 7 students to give awareness about Environmental safety. Our students participated energetically and won prizes. Our honorable chairman and ITC dignitaries distributed prizes to our students and gave speech about Environmental safety.
National Doctors Day is a special occasion dedicated to honouring the remarkable men and women who devote their lives to the noble profession of healing. These extraordinary individuals, with their hard work, dedication and unwavering commitment, are the backbone of our healthcare system. To honour them, we invited an extraordinary person Dr. M. Bhairavan RHM P, RSMP(Accupuncture and Naturopathy Medicine) as a chief guest for our doctor's day celebration. Our Chairman Dr. Rajaram M. E. M. B. A. M. Phil., Ph. D welcome our chief guest and honor him by shawl.Our students made a greeting card and wish them. A mime was enact by students. Our KG students did activities regarding helath habits and act like a doctor.
kG wings of SIS conducted ‘Red Day’ activity on 23rd June, 2023 to introduce children into the mesmerizing of colours.The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits. SKG students spoke a few sentences on the red object they brought from home. Teachers discussed the theme in circle time and linked it to all subjects.Kids did craft activities based on red.
To draw global attention towards importance of yoga the international day of yoga is marked annually on June 21.Today our faculties demonstrated yoga and explain it's benefits to students. Students did Surya namaskar and pranayaama.
Father's Day is marked every year to recognize and honour the sacrifices fathers make for their children. This year, Father's Day celebrated on June 18. Our students made greeting card for their father and thank that man who is always be a pillar for them.
We are glad and excited to have our students back in school.As a part of a welcome program ,our teachers organised a special morning assembly for our students. Our teachers enthusiastically sung a song, danced and gave a motivational speech to our students. Our Chairman Dr. Rajarm gave a warm welcome to all our students for this new academic year. Our KG kids did a paper doll and peel and paste activity.
