The annual day is a day when the entire school comes together to celebrate the past year’s successes and achievements. This is a day of great importance for the students, staff, and faculty. It is a time to reflect on the year’s accomplishments and to look forward to the future. It also involves a lot of fun and joy the children bring to all through their performance on stage. We celebrated our annual day on 18th March, 2023 at our school ground. Dr. B. Senthil Arasu B. E., M. B. A., Ph. D. was the chief guest ,our Chairman Dr. Rajaram M. E., M. B. A., M. Phil., Ph.D.presided over the function ,our Principal Ms. U. Sakthi Veeralakshmi M. SC., M. B. A., B. Ed., M Phil., presented Annual reportandVice Principal MS.R.Meenakshi Sundari M. C. A., B. Ed., organized the function. Our students exhibited their skills in various cultural activities.

On 28.02.2023 National Science Day was observed by our students to mark the discovery of the Raman effect in 1928 by Indian physicist Sir Krishna Raman. Our Chairman Dr. RajaramM.E.,M.B.A.,M.Phil.,Ph.D., presided over the function.KG and Grade students were exhibited their projects and experiments. Certificates were distributed to all the students.

Our school celebrated 74th Republic Day with great success The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. The students of Grade 3 and 4 delivered a speech in English and Tamil. A video our soldiers sacrificing their life for our country was shown to students.

Teamwork is the fuel that allows common people to produce uncommon results. To build teamwork among students SIS celebrated Sports day 2023 on 23.01.2023. Mr.S.KUMARAMANIMARAN,B.Sc.,M.P.Ed, NIS (Diploma in Tennis) (District Sports and Youth Welfare officer,Virudhunagar District)is our honourable Chief Guest and Mr. N.RAMESH (Basket Ball Coach) C-Panel, Tamil Nadu Basketball Association, Proprietor - Bharath Sports, Sivakasi is our Guest of Honour.Our Chairman Dr. Rajaram presides over the function.

Our school clebrated Pongal on 13.01.2023.Our students dressed up as traditional. The teachers and students actively participated and the day started with pongal folk song. The students participated in Tamil debate.Traditional games are conducted for our students and insists them to play that games regularly to avoid gadgets. Delicious pongal was distributed to all and the day ends with joy.

As part of the colour day celebrations, our SKG kids celebrated “Brown Colour Day” on 09.01.2023.It was an enjoyable day for the SKG kids as all of them were dressed up in brown colour clothes.They did activities related to brown. It helped the kids to develop and enhance their cognitive, creative, and fine motor skills.

On 09.01.2023, Pre KG and JKG students celebrated Black colour day, with an objective to recapitulate and reinforce the effects of Black colour . A day dedicated to the black colour was marked with Children and Teachers dressed in different hues and tints of Black. Focusing on the theme the teachers planned art and craft activity. It was great to see our student’s participation and speak confidently and enjoyed doing the art and craft activity with great fun.

On 23.12.2022(Friday),the staff and the students of SIS celebrated Christmas in school campus. The classroom was decroated with the red and white balloons as well as the crib and the Christmas tree. There was a keyboard play by Grade 3 & 6 students.This along with a dance by the students of Grade 3 & 4. Our faculty MS. Mumtaj Begum told the story of Christ birth to the students. Students were dressed up like Santa Claus and distributed gifts to all.

To celebrate and appreciate the contribution of Mathematics Wizard Sri. Srinivasa RamanujanNational Mathematics Day was celebrated today(22.12 2022). To inspire young children with life history of Ramanujan power point presentation was showed . To encourage young minds to take up career in mathematics ,quiz was conducted and appreciated the toppers.

Our KG kids celebrated Grey day on 02.12.2022.

All the children from the KG department, and their facilitators, were dressed in white colour to celebrate white day on 18.11 2022. Our tiny tots looked beautiful with their white coloured attires. The facilitators asked the children to carry the white coloured objects from their home and talk about them. The Children were actively involved in an art activity.

On 11 November 2022,we celebrated Education Day in our school premises.Our students enacted mime, drama and speech to create awareness about the importance of education.

Children's Day is an opportunity for children to express themselves and be happy that they are at this age and time. On 14.11.2022, we celebrated Children's Day in our school. Students actively participated and exhibit their talents.kids were dressed up as National leaders, flowers, animal, tree ,dresses of different state,and kids presented models of monuments.

Diwali celebration on 24.10.2022 by our students in our school campus.Students were enact a skit to take responsibly and be sensitive towards the their environment and safety of animals. Teachers showed a video of why celebrating Diwali. Tiny tots shared sweets to their friends

Orange is the colour between yellow and red on the spectrum of visible light. Our SKG kids celebrated Orange day on 18.10.2022(Tuesday). Kids added equal portions of red and yellow colour to get orange. The classroom were decorated with orange colour objects and balloons.

Our Pre KG and JKG students celebrated Blue day on 18.10.2022(Tuesday). It was a pleasant and cool day for the kids. All the students including teachers came dressed in different shades of blue,they carried their favourite blue colour objects. The importance of blue colour was delivered effectively with a series of activities to make learning fun.

Grand parents are special to every child. On 09.09.2022,our students made greeting card to their grand parents.Class coordinators addressed the importance of celebrating grand parents day.Sunday (11.09.2022) our students wished their grand parents and showed their respect.

Ganesh Chaturthi festival was celebrated by our students on Tuesday August 30 2022,with great enthusiasm. Our little artists displayed handmade Ganesha idols made of natural clay and flour dough.Flower rangoli also done by our Students.

Purple day celebrated on 26.08.2022

To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna,Janmashtami is celebrated in our school premises with mirth and joy on 19.08.2022. Our Grade students participated in various activities like flute decoration, pot painting, singing Krishna devotional songs, story telling about Krishna,drawing,clay modelling etc,

Independence Day was celebrated with great joy at our school. Students actively participated in various activities such as decorated tricolour flag with coloured rice, made our national animal by palm printing ,collage, flower band and conducted quiz for our students.

IEEE Try Engineering and STEM workshop "Build your own Robot Arm" held in our School on 06.08.2022.

The Pre-Primary students celebrated Pink Day on 29th October 2022.It was wonderful to see our children were blooming and blossoming in different shades of pink.The Tiny tots participated in variety of hands on activities related to the identification of pink colour, collageand pasting.The aim of the activity was to make the young ones identity pink colour of the objects they see around them.

Parents’ Day is the apt time to show appreciation towards parents for their commitment and sacrifice towards bringing up their children in a safe environment and nurturing their lives. Our students did greeting card to their parents on 22.07.2022 and express their gratitude on 24.07.2022.

Green day was celebrated on 18.07.2022.All our KG kids wore green dress.It was wonderful to see our students bloom and blossom in different shades of green.All the green colour objects were displayed in the class and children were introduced to different shades of green.The tiny tots participated in a variety of hands on activities related to the identification of green.

Kamarajar’s Birthday was celebrated on 15.07.2022 in our school in a grand manner. As a part of celebration colouring, fancy dress, drawing, speech and rangoli activities were conducted class wise to portrait Kamarajar’s elevations as a simple person to a successful Kingmaker of Indian Cabinet.

Vanmahotsav week was celebrated in our School. Videos for Van Mahotsav were showed to students and to insist afforestation to our KG and Grade students KG students made an animal face using paper plates, Grade students made a variety of Paper leaves and stick on a stem.

Today (01.07.2022)National Doctor's Day was celebrated in our School campus with enthusiasm. Students participated in various activities such as role-play, collage, greeting card making, speech about the importance of doctor's day and why we celebrate doctor's day. Our chief guest Dr.Selvameena.M.B.B.S, M. D (Community Medicine) Assistant professor in Government Medical college, Virudhunagar,interact with our students and give awareness about personal hygiene.

On 24 June 2022, Red day was celebrated by our KG kids. Colour day celebration help children to understand primary colours. To mark this day very special, students and the teachers were dressed in red clothes. Classes were decorated with red balloons. Students actively participated in the following activities. Pre kg - Apple ( using finger print) JKG - Water melon SKG - 3d strawberry

Our kids celebrated father's day on 17.06.2022(Friday) in our School campus with enthusiasm. They did craft activities like tie making, badge and greeting card and presented to their father at home.

Food Safety Day celebrated on 07.06.2022 to create awareness about safe food for better health.
